Northern

We are in open, dry and quite flat country here. Box-Ironbark forests, irrigation channels and open farmland. Trails are usually easy due to the flat terrain.

There are also diversions to explore – Waranga Weir can be a good spot for various water birds and is not far from the start of the Murchison trail. There are also irrigation channels throughout the area that are worth visiting for a range of not only water birds but also wood swallows and Rainbow Bee-eaters in season.
